Guy Goosen
Guy Goosen began riding at the age of 8 and has competed internationally since the age of 10. He has been U21 National Champion on two occasions. He has been a member of British Show jumping team on many occasions.
Notable successes to date include International wins in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Portugal, Sweden, Spain and UK. He has been a member of the British Nations Cup team since the age of 19. He was on the long list for the Olympic Games in Atlanta and Sydney.
Guy had a wonderful partnership with his horse Sagrat. Together they won 10 of the 12 International Puissance events that they competed in. They have set new height records for the Puissance at Olympia both in 1996 and 1997. They have also been successful in Derbies and Grand Prix with places in Barcelona, Hickstead and La Baule

Guy Goosen has achieved remarkable success throughout his career. He is ambitious and enthusiastic about his sport, he has proved many times that he is capable of producing young horses to the highest level and as a rider has the skill and determination to get to the top.

Sagrat has a special personality and great character. Having won 10 out of 12 International puissance events he is probably one of the best big wall jumpers in the World. He has made two attempts to break the World record and just failed to clear 2.42m. He has also been well placed in the Derby at Hickstead and La Baule.
